The interim budget presented today in view of the coming elections is very much depressing and of anti-people nature.Health education and employment sector has been totally ignored.Except the few income tax exemptions to the middle class there is nothing positive in the budget.Nothing has been brought to the decrease the unemployment ,dearness of the essential goods, malnutrition and poverty. The issue of increasing burden of loans on the farmers and labour class has not been discussed in the budget Rate of interest on the small savings schemes like PPF has not been raised and no relief has been given in the interest rates of bank loans of farmers labour class and poor sections of society.Increasing burden of education fees in the colleges has not been tackled at all.The privatisation in health and education sectors through PPP model has been appreciated which is wrong. The sanction of Rs six thousand to poor farmers is very much joking because it is not even equal to the cost of crop seeds reqd for one acre. The defence budget has been increased but budget to decrease unemployment and poverty there is no increase. As a whole the budget is very much antipeople and pro corporate
