under social security the old age pension has been kept as such Rs 750/- which is 2000 Rs in Haryana.Unemployed youth is migrating due to lack of jobs here but Pb Govt has not taken any specific measure to generate employment this will further deepen the crises.Old pension scheme has not been revived as before 2006.to its employees, neither medical allowance has been increased from present Rs 500/- to 2000/-pending DA instalments has not been released.Bathinda thermal plant is still waiting to start power generation as promised by Govt earlier.Recommendations of Swaminathan commission has not been implemented to reduce burden on farmers and labourers. To waive loan of farmers meagre amount has been kept.Implementation of PPP model in health and education will have damaging effect but Govt is actively supporting this model in budget.Small scale business is in crisis esp after demonitization but Govt announced nothing to solve its crisis.Amount of Rs 50 crore to Pbi University will not solve its huge fiscal deficit crisis of Rs 200 crore. To meet its deficit university has to start self financing courses which will further increase burden over students. For cancer ridden belt of malwa burden of treatment on patients has not been reduced by bringing down prices of medicines down and under control. No investment has been planned to open new schools, colleges and universiries in public sector.Agro industries to generate employment has not been planned as most of our population is rural and agricalture based.Open university in Patiala has been announced but nothing about its shape has been cleared.Fee structure in public and private sector educational institutions is beyond capacity of parents but no relief has been announced in the budget. As a whole budget is depressing.
